   City of Delaware residents can assist with the ongoing City Manager search process by answering a few questions in this survey:
   https://www . surveymonkey . com/r/NFFJMP5
    . Your responses will help create the position profile that will be used to identify the best candidates . The survey will be live through February 25 .
    
   City Manager Tom Homan announced in July 2023 his retirement date of July 2024 . Homan has served as manager since 1999 .
   Slavin Management Consultants was selected by the City Council to spearhead the search for the new manager . SMC is a national firm , based in Norcross , Georgia . Over the years SMC has recruited more than 900 local government executives .
