The City of Delaware is expanding its curbside bulk item collection service from twice a month to every Thursday . The cost is unchanged: $25 for up to three bulk items per stop . Additional items are $10 each with a maximum of six ( 6 ) items per stop . Payment options include exact amount , check or credit card . Register by mail , by phone with credit card information at 740 - 203 - 1810 , or in person at 440 East William Street between 7 am – 4 pm , Monday – Friday . This service is for
   large bulky items that do not fit within tipcarts . There is more here on the program here:

   Residents with questions about the local transfer station , 888 U . S . 42N , should contact Delaware County ,   which owns the facility , or
   Rumpke Waste & Recycling
    , who operates it and is responsible for setting fees , and for the recent fee hike .
