The 36th Annual Outer Banks Senior Games and Silver Arts will take place April 15 , 2024 to April 27 , 2024 . Registration is currently open online at

    , and closes on March 21 , 2024 .
   The Outer Banks Senior Games and SilverArts is an exciting two - week sporting and arts event designed exclusively for men and women who are residents of Dare County aged 50 years or older .   This Olympic - style event is designed to provide year - round health promotion and competition for participants . Participants will compete in a wide range of events including heritage and visual arts , bocce , table tennis , basketball shooting , swimming , shuffleboard , pickleball , and more .
   The Outer Banks Senior Games and SilverArts are coordinated by The Thomas A . Baum Senior Center in Kill Devil Hills , in partnership with the Virginia S . Tillett Community Center in Manteo and the Fessenden Center in Buxton . For specific competition locations and dates , please see the event calendar at

   This program is one of 54 local games sanctioned by North Carolina Senior Games , Inc . and is sponsored statewide by the North Carolina Division of Aging . Participants in the Outer Banks Senior Games compete to qualify for the state finals which will be held in the fall of 2024 in North Carolina .
