   Dare County will host an open house to celebrate the recent completion of the newly constructed Dare County EMS Station 4 in Southern Shores from 2 p . m . to 6 p . m . on Friday , March 15 , 2024 .
   Members of the public are encouraged to attend the open house , which will also include guided tours of the new facility as well as free blood pressure checks , "Stop the Bleed" training and Hands - Only CPR training provided by Dare County EMS staff members . In addition to the open house , a ribbon - cutting ceremony will be held at 1:30 p . m . on Friday , March 15 , 2024 , featuring several key speakers .
   The new 8 , 800 - square - foot facility—which is located at 28 East Dogwood Trail in Southern Shores—is part of a 
   multiphase project
    
   to improve and modernize outdated Dare County EMS facilities throughout the county in order to better serve the residents and visitors of our community . For more detailed information , please click the button below .
