   HENDERSON , Nev . ( March 5 , 2024 ) – Parents , warmer weather is almost here! Registration for City of Henderson spring classes and activities , as well as summer childcare is now open . Visit HendersonHappenings . com for a full list and details .
   To get a head start on summer childcare , the City is opening summer camps early for children three to 18 years . Secure your child’s spot now for programs designed to provide interactive and engaged learning during summer break . Camp programs feature basketball , performing arts , outdoor activities , aquatics , adaptive recreation options and more in an upbeat atmosphere with convenient hours and locations throughout Henderson .
   In the springtime , get outside with the kids and enjoy Henderson’s expansive roster of classes and activities , including the popular Preschool Prom and Silver Springs Spring Festival in April . New classes this year include gardening classes at the brand - new Pumpkin Park and cooking classes with Easter and Earth Day themes .
   Registration for both spring activities and summer camps can be submitted online , by mail or in person at any Henderson recreation center . Registration will remain open until spaces fill .
