Henderson Nevada - Henderson to Open Candidate Filing For 2024 Municipal Elections on March 4 29 February 2024 ( news )

   HENDERSON , Nev . ( Feb . 29 , 2024 ) – The City of Henderson will open its non - judicial candidate filing period on Monday , March 4 , and will remain open until Friday , March 15 , for the upcoming 2024 Henderson municipal elections .  
   This filing period is for the seats of Henderson’s Ward I , II , and IV . Henderson’s primary election is on Tuesday , June 11 , with the general election on Tuesday , Nov . 5 .
   The Office of the City Clerk will temporarily extend its operating hours to include Fridays for candidate filings only . Other City Clerk services will not be available during extended hours .
   The candidate filing process must be completed in person at the Henderson City Clerk’s office , however , candidates can initiate the filing process online through the Secretary of State ' s online candidate filing portal found here .
   In - person appointments can be made at the Office of the City Clerk inside Henderson City Hall Monday through Friday between 8:00 a . m . and 5:00 p . m .
