   Police Investigating Fatal Crash
    
   On February 29 , 2024 , at 1:42 AM , the Prince George County Police Department responded to Walton Lake Road at Lamore Drive for a single - vehicle crash .   A white 2010 Chevrolet Impala was traveling westbound on Lamore Drive when it ran through a stop sign , striking heavy brush and a tree .  
   The driver of the Impala ,
   identified as Mark Frederick Hart , age 64 , of Prince George County , was transported to Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center , where Mr . Hart succumbed to injuries .   
   Officers are working with the Medical Examiner’s Office to determine the cause and circumstances of the crash .
