received the most community votes ,
There Therewill be featured for Livermore Reads Together 2024 .
Throughout the month of March 2024 , the Library will host a series of events honoring Native American heritage and the themes in

planned in partnership with the Tri - Valley Native American Center .
LIVERMORE READS TOGETHER EVENTS
In collaboration with Tri - Valley Native American Center , the Livermore Public Library will kick off LRT with a small powwow at Civic Center Library Plaza ( 1188 S . Livermore Ave . ) , on Saturday , March 2 , 2024 , at 1 p . m . Community members are invited to a vibrant event celebrating Native American culture with singing , dancing , and art on display at the Civic Center Art Gallery .
EVENTS SCHEDULE
March 1 through March 31: Art exhibition by Native American artists at the Civic Center Art Gallery , in collaboration with Tri - Valley Native American Center .
March 2 , 1 p . m . : Kick off LRT with a small powwow at the Civic Center Library Plaza . Celebrate Native American culture with singing , dancing , and art . For people of all ages .

Be a Water Protector
self - guided activity at Springtown Branch Library . Get inspired by Native activists and the book

Empowerment Through Identity
poetry workshop at the Civic Center Library , Community Rooms A & B . Join artist and poet Elizabeth Jiménez Montelongo to write and share poetry . This workshop is for ages 7 and older . Children ages 5 & 6 are welcome to join with one participating adult per child . No registration is required .
March 11 , 6 p . m . Dreamcatcher Workshop for Teens with Tina Henson of Tri - Valley Native American Center at Rincon Branch Library .

at Civic Center Library Storytime Room . Watch this powerful documentary about the role of Native Americans in contemporary music history , featuring some of the greatest music stars of our time .
