In honor of Black History Month 2024 , Livermore Public Library will collaborate with
   Art of the African Diasporafor a third year to host a Black History Month Art Exhibit curated by TheArthur Wright within the Civic Center Library Art Gallery . An Artist Reception will be held on Saturday , Feb . 10 , 2024 , at 12 p . m . in the Civic Center Library Community Rooms A & B to celebrate Art of the African Diaspora artists Arthur Norcome , Joseph Robinson , Asual Kwahuumba , Julie Atkinson , Kevin Lance Daniels , Joanne Johnson , and Ashlie Kego . Hors d ' oeuvres from the Pleasanton Catering Company will be served , no registration is required to attend this event .
   All Black History Month 2024 events are free and open to the public thanks to the support of the
   Friends of the Livermore Public Library
