Commerce City is conducting a study to identify areas for multimodal improvements to Highway 2 between E . 64
   thand E . 112
   thavenues . The study will position the City to move seamlessly into design and implementation of a safer , more functional corridor . Concepts may include:
   Signing and striping improvements
   Intersection improvements
   Landscaping/urban design
   Integration with connecting facilities and programmed improvements
   The City will evaluate each potential improvement including impacts to bicycle/pedestrian comfort , safety , mobility and access , traffic operations , property , constructability , aesthetics and context , benefit vs . cost , and community support .
   The study is conducted in coordination with the
   Highway 2 median project
    . There will be multiple public input opportunities throughout 2024 .
