Responsibilities:
Work involves support of the design, development, and management of GIS data resources within the context of the Auditor’s Office and the Mahoning County GIS Enterprise programs and policy directives. Backup to GIS Analyst I and GIS Office Administrator.
Qualifications:
Must have a BS/BA in GIS, Geography, Computer Science or closely related field.
Must have a minimum of three years of work experience using ESRI products.
Education and Related Work Experience:
Basic accounting and math skills.
Basic surveying concepts.
Experience with MVP preferred
Must successfully complete 180 day period of probation.
Licenses, Registrations or Certifications:
Criminal background check required for hire.
Pre-employment Drug testing.
Technical Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
Critical thinking and problem solving skills.
Good communication skills and telephone technique.
Ability to communicate, interact and work effectively and cooperatively with people from diverse ethnic and educational backgrounds.
