Video games , phones , tablets , computers , televisions… there are a lot of electronics capturing the attention of kids these days . Kids are spending up to nine hours a day in front of a screen , according to the CDC . To encourage residents of all ages to drop the devices and enjoy an activity outside , the city of Goodyear is hosting free activities on May 21 at the Goodyear Recreation Campus , including waving access fees to the aquatic center .

   8 - 10 a . m .
   Park Activities: Obstacle course , lawn games , flavored ice popsicles , vendor booths , giveaways and more!
   10 - 11 a . m .
   Pool Activities: access to the play pool , lazy river , slides and leisure pool
