Preliminary information: On February 23 , 2024 , at approximately 4:28 p . m . , Atlanta Police Zone 2 officers responded to a report of a person shot at 2450 Camellia Ln . NE . Upon arriving on the scene , officers located a 31 - year - old male victim who had sustained a gunshot . The victim was transported to the hospital by ambulance in critical condition , where they succumbed to their injury . Investigators with the Homicide Unit responded to the scene to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident . The investigation continues .
