City of Commerce City Colorado - Digital Accessibility Document Training now available 20 February 2024 ( news )

   On June 30 , 2021 ,
   Colorado HB21 - 1110was signed into law , strengthening protections for persons with disabilities when accessing government information online .
   To comply with this law when it goes into effect this summer , the city is improving our web presence , software , and official city documents to be accessible to our community and employees with any visual , mobility , auditory , or cognitive issues .
   Training is now available!
   When
   : Assorted dates in February , March , and April
   Who
   : Employees who create official city documents , submit content to websites ( internal , city , and external ) , and/or email information to the community .
