We ' ve got lots of great parks improvements coming up across the city , and right now the city needs your feedback on two upcoming renovation projects: 
   Fairfax Park Playground RenovationsFairfax Park , 6850 Fairfax Dr . , is the city’s second largest park at 23 acres .  This renovation project includes a new playground and replacement of the existing vault restroom with a new flush restroom .

   Pioneer Park Splash Pad RefurbishmentThe splash pad at Pioneer Park was built in 2008 and is due for renovation after the 2024 summer season . Let us know what you would like to see at the updated splash pad by March 11 at

   The reconstruction of the splash pad ( which is located at Pioneer Park but not within Paradice Island Pool ) is estimated to begin this fall , with completion expected in late summer of 2025 .
