Community members are invited to join artist and poet Elizabeth Jiménez Montelongo for a community poetry workshop on Saturday , March 9 , 2024 , 10 a . m . to 2 p . m . at the Civic Center Library Community Rooms ( 1188 S . Livermore Ave . ) .  Jiménez Montelongo will guide participants to write a poem about themselves , their experiences , and their visions for the future . Participants will also listen to a variety of poetry , including poems by Jiménez Montelongo .
   This workshop is for ages 7 and older . Children ages 5 and 6 are welcome to join with one participating adult per child .   No registration is required .
