City Council to consider action on Short - Term Rentals on Jan . 8
Lewisville City Council will hold a public input and discussion session and then consider action on two items related to short - term rental properties at its regularly scheduled meeting on Monday , Jan . 8 , 7 p . m . , in the Council Chambers inside Lewisville City Hall , 151 W . Church Street .
The first item for public input and discussion is for an interim prohibition on short - term rentals .
The second item for public input and discussion is a proposed ordinance governing the operation of short - term rentals .
Anyone wishing to speak at the public input and discussion portion of the agenda must sign up before the meeting starts . Speaker cards are provided at the front door of the council chambers . Each speaker is limited to five minutes .
