Three arrests made in gas station armed robbery investigation
   Lewisville Police Department has arrested three suspects in connection with the armed robbery of the QuikTrip gas station on FM 407 that occurred on Tuesday , Dec . 26 .
   18 - year - old Leonardo Rodriguez , 17 - year - old Edwin Morales Neri , and 17 - year - old David Reyes - Estrada are all charged with Aggravated Robbery and Tampering/Fabricating Physical Evidence .
   On Dec . 26 , officers responded to the QT gas station at 1231 FM 407 , at approximately 6:25 a . m . , on an armed robbery call . The victim reported the suspects used a gun during the robbery . Officers were provided a description of the suspects’ vehicle , which was a black pickup truck with some distinctive features . A few days later , using advanced technology systems , investigators located the pickup truck at an apartment complex in the 200 block of West Corporate Drive . A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle and one suspect was taken into custody without incident .
   Investigators learned a second suspect resided in the 800 block of Yale Drive . While serving the arrest/search warrant at that location , officers arrested that suspect . Additional leads came in advising the third suspect could be found at a residence in the 100 block of Pinewood Place . On Dec . 29 , prior to serving an arrest/search warrant at that location , a traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle and the third suspect was arrested without incident .
   During LPD’s investigation , Richardson PD advised the suspects fit the description of three suspects that committed a similar crime in their city on Dec . 26 , about an hour before the Lewisville robbery . Richardson PD’s investigation is ongoing .
