The City’s LauderGO! Micro Mover , powered by Circuit has been experiencing record ridership in the Fort Lauderdale area . In an effort to reduce wait times , fares are being implemented on some of the system’s longest trips to high - demand areas .
   Starting March 1 , 2024 , rides booked in the app that start , end , or are within two high - demand and heavily traveled areas will have a fare of $2 per rider . The fare zones include the barrier island and Fort Lauderdale Beach , as well as the Las Olas Boulevard and Himmarshee zones . Please see the fare zones map below .
   With this fare , we hope to see wait times go down during peak and high - demand season , and overall quality of service go up .
   There is no fare for rides that start and end within the larger service areas that are not part of these zones .
