The City of Fort Lauderdale and FG Construction ( FGC ) will be cleaning the stormwater management system in the Sailboat Bend neighborhood . Through this project , crews will inspect and clean the system to ensure that it functions optimally , reducing the risk of flooding .
   This project will begin on Monday , February 26 , 2024 , and is expected to be completed in May 2024 . Work will take place Monday through Friday between 7 a . m . and 6 p . m . This schedule is subject to change based on inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances .  A link will be added to this page soon to view a project dashboard and monitor the project ' s progress .
   Traffic Impacts
   Limited lane closures are expected as the contractor will be working primarily within the shoulder of all neighborhood streets .
   Access to driveways will be maintained .
   Please follow posted signs and drive with caution in the area .
