   CHESTERFIELD COUNTY , VA –Chesterfield County Police have located a man who was last seen on Jan . 1 , 2024 .
   Benjamin G . Brooks , 40 , was last seen on the afternoon of Monday , Jan . 1 , in the Chester area . He reportedly left his residence in the 2300 block of Golden Garden Circle and has not returned home .  
   On Thursday , Jan . 4 , police responded to a report that an adult male had been found deceased in the area of Golden Garden Circle . The adult male has been identified as Brooks . His body was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner , but at this point there are no signs of foul play .
