   CHESTERFIELD COUNTY , VA – 
   Chesterfield County Police are continuing their investigation of a fatal motor vehicle crash that occurred on Brandermill Parkway near the intersection of Barnes Spring Road at about 12:13 a . m . on December 30 , 2023 .
   Police said a 2016 Chevrolet Impala was traveling north when it left the roadway and struck a tree . A passenger in the vehicle , Wyatt Fowler , 15 , was pronounced dead at the scene .  The remaining occupants were transported to area hospitals with serious injuries that are not considered life - threatening . The cause of the crash remains under investigation .
