Avondale receives top marketing honors at the 2022
3CMA
Savvy Awards
The City - County Communications & Marketing Association announced the 2022 winners of its national Savvy Awards Competition during a ceremony at the Hyatt Regency Portland - Portland , OR on Thursday , Sept . 8 . The City of Avondale took home seven awards in this competition , which salutes skilled and effective city , county , agency or district professionals who have creatively planned and carried out successful innovations in communications and marketing .
The Savvy Awards , held in conjunction with 3CMA’s Annual Conference , recognize outstanding local government achievements in communications , public - sector marketing and resident - government relationships . According to 3CMA , this year’s Savvy awards competition received more than 640 entries from 172 jurisdictions in 28 states . Avondale received awards for the following seven entries:

Avondale’s Marketing and Public Relations Department has won several awards in the Savvy Awards competition over the past two decades for innovative and creative communications . This year , three of Avondale’s entries tied for first place in the graphic design category – a testament to the talented in - house graphic design professionals who strive to maintain consistency with the city’s brand and to present information about Avondale in a clear and visually appealing way .
