FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
   Additional Beach Trail Closures Due to Slope Movement
   February 7 , 2024… San Clemente , California… . Due to additional slope movement , additional portions of the San Clemente Beach Trail have been closed for public safety .
   • From North Beach access to Mariposa access
   • Linda Lane access to Corto Lane access
   • From Boca Del Canon access to Lasuen access
   The access stairs at Dije Court , El Portal , and Lasuen Beach Accesses have also been closed for the safety of the public .
   The need for additional closures may be required as situations change . The public is reminded to please avoid any closed areas and pay attention to signage and barricades as these areas have hazards that may pose a risk to health and safety . The City of San Clemente does not take closure of these important amenities lightly , and will reevaluate the need for closures and reopen as soon as possible .
