On Thursday May 19 , 2022 , at around 11:55pm officers responded to 192 Moury Ave SW on a report of a person shot . On scene officers found a pedestrian who had been hit by a vehicle and a male who had been shot . Both patients were taken to the hospital in stable condition . Preliminary investigation found that the person who had been shot had been driving in a Kia Soul on Moury Ave SW and struck a pedestrian standing next to Kia Sorento . When the pedestrian was struck the driver of the Sorento got out and started shooting at the Soul , striking the driver . The shooter fled on foot before police arrived . The driver of the Kia Soul was charged with DUI , Reckless Driving , and Failure to Maintain Lane . The investigation is continuing .
