Preliminary information: On February 29 , 2024 , at approximately 4:46 p . m . , Atlanta Police Zone 2 officers responded to a report of a person shot near 741 Morosgo Dr . NE . Upon arriving on the scene , officers located a 24 - year - old female victim who had sustained a gunshot wound . The victim was alert , conscious , and breathing and transported to the hospital by ambulance . Responding officers detained a possible suspect near the scene . Investigators with the Aggravated Assault Unit responded to the scene to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident . The investigation continues .
