Preliminary information: On March 3 , 2023 , at approximately 8:32 a . m . , Atlanta Police Zone 6 officers responded to a report of a person stabbed at 1739 Cheshire Bridge Rd . NE . Upon arriving on the scene , officers located a 31 - year - old male victim who had sustained multiple stab wounds . The victim was alert , conscious , and breathing and transported to the hospital by ambulance . Preliminary investigation indicates the victim was in a physical dispute with an unknown suspect that escalated to the victim being stabbed . Investigators with the Aggravated Assault Unit responded to the scene to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident . The investigation continues .
