Title
: Principal Clerk
Duties
: Under the supervision of the Town Clerk/Assistant Town Clerk performs and assists in the performance of various clerical duties of the office including but not limited to,
Responsible for Marriage Intentions,
Responsible for recording Vital Records with the State Dept.
Recording of all Pole/Conduit Locations as well as billing for same
Maintaining and balancing a Cash Drawer
Servicing the General Public and other town/state agencies both in person and on the telephone
Selling of Dog Licenses
Assisting with the Census/Elections during Census/Election time.
Responsible for the operations of the office in the absence of the Town Clerk and Assistant Town Clerk
Requirements
:
HS Graduate or associate degree
Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks in a detailed and organized manner.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficient with Computers
Must be a Registered Voter in Billerica
Assist the Registrars during elections.
CONFIDENTIALITY a MUST
Salary
: $45,546 - $57,630
Hours
: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM
