   Night work scheduled to expedite project completion , enhance safety .  
    
   National Grid , through its contractor , will be performing pavement restoration on Grove Street between Summer Street and Mass Ave . The work is planned for one evening starting on Thursday , May 26th at 7:00 p . m . Police details will be on site to direct traffic . Expect delays .

   Zero Waste Arlington , a Town of Arlington Committee , announces the passage of a single - use plastic water bottle ban . Zero Waste Arlington brought the article to Town Meeting who supported the article with an overwhelming vote of 199 - 42 . The ban takes effect November 1 , 2022 .
