Beginning Wednesday , February 28 , and continuing through Thursday , February 29 , one northbound lane of Spring Garden Street between Merritt Drive and the on - ramp to W . Wendover Avenue will be closed due to hydrant repair work . The work , which takes place from 9 am to 4 pm each day , may cause minor traffic delays .
   Signs and traffic cones are in place , and motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes to avoid the area . Dates and times may change due to weather or schedule changes .
