   REQUEST FOR QUOTATION

   Please submit a quote for the following:  Furnish all necessary tools and equipment , materials , labor , and supervision ( including cost of insurance , bonds , and all payroll taxes on such labor ) for the:
    
   Rehabilitation Project at 2362 Dover Way , Pittsburg , CA 94565
   Scope of Work and Project Location
     
   Location: 2362 Dover Way
    
   Exterior Work
   Replace 4 broken panels on garage door
   Completely replace the walkway connecting the driveway to the front door , as the current structure does not comply with state and federal disability access laws , primarily due to an elevation ( "bridge" ) in the middle . The new walkway should have a broom - finished surface
   Replace the backyard retaining wall , constructed with wood , as it has been pushed by soil , resulting in leaning and breakage
   Replace front door knocker with like item , as previous occupants’ name is engraved on it
   Interior Work
   Close the flue and spot weld the fireplace door shut , to make it inoperable
   Install a shower rod in 2nd bathroom
   Install carbon monoxide detector ( s ) as required by law
   Replace batteries in existing smoke detectors if needed
   Replace dead bolt on Man Door , as current one is inoperable
   Install vertical blinds on glass sliding doors in Family Room
    Electrical Work
   Conceal and cover exposed yellow wires in the garage with conduit
   Rewire the wall fixture in the back patio to comply with safety standards , as NMC cable is not allowed to be in a wet location per the 2022 California Electric Code Section 334 . 12 ( B ) ( 4 ) and must be protected by using RMC ( ridged Metal Cable , Pipe ) or similar material
    Heating , Ventilation and Air ( HVAC ) and Water Heater
   Remove and install a new forced air furnace and air conditioning system in the current location , utilizing the existing plenum and registers . The price should cover Title 24 calculations , planning , as well as equipment and material acquisitions . The reuse of existing ducts is permissible , provided they are properly sealed and insulated . The system must pass an air leak test conducted by a certified HERS ( Home Energy Rating Systems ) Rater . The entire process will be permitted and subject to inspection upon completion
   Install a new 40 - gallon gas water heater , replacing the existing one . The price should include the removal and disposal of the old water heater
