Stark County Ohio - Project 619 Collection System Repairs Phase IV 11 March 2024 ( news )

The Stark County Sanitary Engineering Department is committed to an on - going program to replace aging sanitary sewer infrastructure and also prevent clean water infiltration . In this effort , the county has recently substantially completed three project phases totaling approximately $5 . 7 million dollars . ( Some final restoration work is outstanding and scheduled for this spring on Project 603 . )
This project’s $6 , 286 , 065 . 38 contract was awarded to S . E . T . Excavating on February 7 , 2024 . A pre - construction meeting with the contractor and affected utilities is set for March 12th . The scheduled completion date is October 22 , 2024 . The project scope primarily includes installation of 8 , 326 lineal feet of 6 - 12” diameter sanitary sewer mains and 8 , 226 lineal feet of cured - in - place pipe . The work is generally within portions of the following general areas across five townships:
As the time approaches for each work area/neighborhood , the contractor will notify affected customers . Preconstruction conditions will be recorded and the contractor is to restore affected areas as part of the contract .
