Public Works announced that City of Fairfield contractors Bockmon & Woody completed installation of new trail lights on the Linear Trail section of Oliver Road to I - 80 onramp . Sidewalk closure signs were posted to announce the start of the next phase of demo and installation , affecting Beck Avenue to Fifth Street . Due to safety concerns of citizens , both trail entrances will be fenced off at Beck and Fifth Street .  
   Depending on weather , crews will pour foundations for the new poles and plan to have this section of trail completed by early February . Crews will complete each section and verify that the lights are working prior to beginning the next section . This includes washing down the sidewalk and picking up any debris left behind .
