Blacksburg Virginia - North Main Trail Closure – March 12 26 08 March 2024 ( news )

   Beginning Tuesday , March 12 the trail along North Main Street between the intersection of Mountain Breeze Drive and Red Maple Drive will be periodically closed . A contractor will be working to remove and replace the existing curb ramps at each intersection to meet current ADA requirements . Work will begin at the Mountain Breeze Drive intersection at the souteast and southwest corners . Once completed , work would then move to Red Maple . The work is anticipated to take 2 - 3 days at each curb ramp , with a total expected duration of 2 weeks .
