Town Manager
The Town of Nolensville is seeking public input on the Town’s first10 - year parks and recreation master plan . This plan will outline priorities for Nolensville’s parks and recreation system for the next 10 years and is a requirement for the Town to receive grant funding from the state . Join us Monday April 8th from 5 - 7pm at Nolensville Town Hall to see the plans and give us your feedback . This will be open - house style event set - up with vision boards containing highlights from each section of the Master Plan . The input received from the community will help guide the recommendations in the Master Plan and help shape the future of Nolensville’s parks .
Police Department
This week , the Nolensville Police Department met with members of the Tennessee Highway Safety Office ( THSO ) to discuss upcoming grant opportunities . In addition to providing our department with equipment , grants also provide funding for extra patrol officers to keep our streets safer .
On Wednesday , we held a test for a new midnight - shift sergeant . We have two excellent , highly qualified candidates to fill this role on the overnight shift . Good luck to both!
On Thursday , officers from the Nolensville Police Department spoke to members of a local church about our Senior Assurance Program , fraud and scams , and crime within our community .
Today , Lieutenant Hale graduates from the Federal Bureau of Investigation National Academy . Members of the Nolensville Police Department will be in Quantico , Virginia to attend his graduation ceremony . Lieutenant Hale has become the first Nolensville Police Officer to attend and graduate from this prestigious program .

Blasting in and around Nolensville seems to be a regular occurrence these days . Unfortunately , the Town of Nolensville has no regulatory authority over the companies conducting this work . The State of Tennessee Fire Marshal’s Office is the authority having jurisdiction and their office investigates all complaints . Their contact phone number is: 615 - 741 - 7190 .
