Town Manager
Our special census deadline was last week , and we finished at 97% complete . We have put the final touches on the project and have submitted it to the company that will help with the verification process before the results are sent to the State of Tennessee .
THANK YOU again for all your help and support the past 5 months . This was a huge project for the Town , and it was successful because everyone came together and went “ALL IN!” We cannot wait to share the official results with you and see the impact made with the additional state shared funds Nolensville will have soon!
Police Department
This week , the Nolensville Police Department met with school officials to talk about drug use that is rising in our younger population . We discussed plans to educate parents and students on the dangers of drugs as well as our coordinated response to events around the county .
We are continuing to work on new and old criminal cases .

Finance Department
Finance has completed the implementation of new banking services with FirstBank for managing Town funds . This is a positive step for Nolensville and required tremendous effort from our finance team .
Public Works Department
This week our team collected brush at Gregory Park from last weekend’s Trees and Trails “Weed wrangle” event .
We cleaned up the census signage and assisted PD with repairing and relocating one of their speed display signs . Asphalt patching has continued as well .
The entire crew will continue taking classes to renew their traffic control certifications .
Engineering Department
This week we conducted a meeting with the consultant working on the ARP grant with Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation to determine next steps and a schedule .
The appraisal letters for the right - of - way acquisition associated with Phase 3 of the Sunset Road widening project has gone out to the affected property owners .
Building Department:
Blasting in and around Nolensville seems to be a regular occurrence these days . Unfortunately , the Town of Nolensville has no regulatory authority over the companies conducting this work . The State of Tennessee Fire Marshal’s Office is the authority having jurisdiction and their office investigates all complaints . Their contact phone number is: 615 - 741 - 7190 .
