What are the commissioners up to?
Below is a summary of recent public meetings , where the commissioners . . .
Approved the purchase of two light - duty trucks for Public Works , for about $40 , 000 each .
Adopted a resolution that will place a question on the June primary ballot asking voters if they want to conduct a local government review study in 2024 . State law mandates that this question to assess their form of government be put to the voters every 10 years . If the electorate votes in favor of a review during the June primary , then candidates for a study commission would be on the ballot in November of this year . The study commission would then take one year to review and propose any change to local government . Any proposed changes would go back to the electorate again in November 2026 .
Approved reappointments of various community members to advisory boards .
