   Hello .  
    This is Mayor Mark Zinna with a Friday news update .  
    
   Tenafly had 52 new COVID cases this week .  Last week there were 37 new cases .  There were no COVID deaths reported .
    
   We are excited to announce the Tenafly Little League parade starting at 8:30 AM , this Saturday , April 23rd . The parade starts behind the Wells Fargo drive - through on West Clinton and marches through town ending at the main Little League Field . Looking forward to seeing everyone there!
    
   High School junior , Allie Baldini is working on her Girl Scout Gold Award project .   Allie is creating awareness of how we can help protect our planet for ourselves and future generations .  Allie has created a website that contains 22 things to do to promote a more sustainable future .    Every day is Earth day at the Nature Center , but today they would like to wish everyone a Happy Earth Day! TNC has many fun activities planned for this weekend for all ages to celebrate and show respect for our natural world , such as our community wide Trash - a - thon scheduled for this Sunday , April 24 from 1 - 4 pm .    In High School sports news , the girls Pole Vault team set the school record and won first place in the Bergen County relays this week . Boys Baseball defeated Pascack Valley on Monday 4 - 2 . Tenafly has not triumphed over Pascack Valley since 2016 . Congratulations to both the boys and girls on their wins!
    
   The Korean Community Center is currently hosting another wonderful art exhibit , Wind and Wishes . The gallery is open Monday through Saturday from 10 AM to 5 PM .
    
   The Garden Club will hold its Annual Mother’s Day plant sale on Friday , May 6 and Saturday , May 7 at both Davis Johnson Park and Oresko Memorial Green . There will be annuals and herbs , hanging baskets , patio planters , flats and more .
