Snow crews are out in force today clearing streets up following this late - season snowfall .
   Every available resource is on the road right now . Salt is being used and is proving effective with our current temps . Timing of the morning commute and an intensification of the storm is complicating removal . Crews will stay engaged until streets are cleared .
   According to our streets team , the main focus right now is arterials , school and bus routes . Residential
   operations will commence when the snow lets up , and will last well into the latter parts of the day .
   CRPD has responded to several minor accidents this morning and CRFD was called to two accidents with injuries , none serious .
   Solid waste is continuing service on the SE side today . They are moving slower than normal but will complete their routes .
