Public Works crews will begin closing sections along the Linear Park Trail starting Wednesday , January 10 , 2024 . The first section to close will span from Oliver Road to Beck Avenue and continue to Second Street .
   The Community Development Block Grant Linear Park Trail Lighting Project will be completed in phases to minimize inconvenience to park users . Crews will cut power , remove light fixtures , and replace them with new and improved lights . Residents and park users should avoid closed areas for safety . The project is scheduled to be completed by late February , depending on the weather .
