The annual LISD High School Art Show , featuring art from every high school in the district , opens tonight at
   Lewisville Grand Theater
    , 100 N . Charles Street .
   Works of art in this show were selected by a jury and prizes are awarded through a partnership with the Visual Art League . This exhibit runs through Saturday , Feb . 24 .
   The remaining three shows will feature works of art from LISD Middle School , LISD Elementary - East , and LISD Elementary - West . Student works for those shows are selected by art teachers . Middle School works will be on view March 1 - 23
   Elementary - West works will be on view March 28 - April 13
   Elementary - East works will be on view April 18 - May 4
   All sections of the LISD Art Show will be on view in the Gallery at The Grand and available for viewing during gallery hours , Tuesday - Saturday 10 a . m . - 5 p . m . and evenings when there are other programs going on at The Grand . The Grand Gallery is closed on Sunday and Monday .
   The Grand is Lewisville ' s home for the arts . It presents a variety of regional and national touring performers , art exhibits , and classes , while also giving the many arts groups in the greater Lewisville area a facility to perform and display their works . Its multiple performance spaces play host to a variety of events , including live music , theater , dance performances , comedy shows , and more . The center features the 294 - seat Huffines Performance Hall , black box theater , recital hall , art gallery , and courtyard .
   To reach The Grand from Interstate 35E , take exit 452 and proceed east on Main Street to Charles Street . The Grand will be on the left . Free public parking is available along Main and Church streets , or at Lewisville City Hall across Church Street from the center .
