The Harrisburg Area Transportation Study ( HATS ) received a Safe Streets for All Grant to create a Safety Action Plan for the Cumberland - Perry - Dauphin region . This plan will evaluate ways to make the regional transportation network safer for all users , with special emphasis on eliminating fatalities and suspected serious injuries .  
   The project team will hold a public meeting in person to go over the results of the existing conditions analysis for the Safety Action Plan . The meeting will consist of a presentation , along with display boards and open discussion .  
   The Safety Action Plan Public Meeting takes place on Wednesday , March 6 , 2024 , from 4:00 p . m . to 8:00 p . m . at the Stuart Community Center , 415 Franklin Street .
