Ridge Street Pumping Station Upgrades
   The pumping station located near the intersection of South Pitt Street and Ridge Street is undergoing upgrades to provide additional capacity to South Middleton Township .
   As part of the project , a parallel force main is being constructed adjacent to the Borough ' s existing force main from the Ridge Street Pumping Station to the Borough ' s downstream receiving interceptor sewer on South Spring Garden Street . Road work is planned along West Ridge Street towards Hanover Street , continuing to Bedford Street and Highland Street .
   There will be lane shifts when work crosses South Hanover Street . Weather permitting , crews will be crossing Hanover starting Tuesday , January 23 . Please be alert for these lane shifts .
