An unknown male suspect was observed on surveillance entering the store and perusing the aisles . Nothing of value was taken from the business . The suspect damaged a door lock to gain entry to the store .
   A business located on Elizabeth Ave . was the victim of a burglary during the overnight hours . The unknown suspect ( s ) damaged a rear door to gain entry and stole $1 , 600 . 00 from the business .
   A business located on Rt . 27 was the victim of a shoplifting during the afternoon hours of 01/27/24 . A white or Hispanic male entered the store and placed miscellaneous items in a bag before walking out without paying . The value of the stolen merchandise was $382 . 00 .

   A Somerset , NJ resident was the victim of a motor vehicle theft during the overnight hours in the area of JFK Blvd . The unoccupied vehicle was located in our jurisdiction on a later date . The original license plates were replaced with stolen license plates . The suspect ( s ) is unknown .
   A Somerset , NJ resident was the victim of a theft between 01/23/24 and 01/29/24 in the area of Orchid Ct . The victim believes two females from a home health aide service stole $600 . 00 and various jewelry from her residence when they were there to assist .    Nancy E . Hastings , 60 , of Somerset , NJ turned herself in on an outstanding warrant out of our jurisdiction . Hastings was processed and transported to Somerset County Jail .

   A Somerset , NJ resident was the victim of a theft between 01/20/24 and 01/27/24 in the area of Hickory Rd . The unknown suspect ( s ) stole one of the victim’s license plates off of his vehicle . The plate was entered stolen into a national database .

   A stolen motor vehicle from an outside jurisdiction was recovered in the area of Oak Pl . The vehicle was unoccupied and suffered damage to the ignition . The suspect ( s ) is unknown . The reporting jurisdiction was notified of the recovery .
   A business located on Rt . 27 was the victim of a shoplifting during the evening hours . A white male entered the store , removed medication from a shelf and placed it inside of his coat . The suspect exited the store without paying . The stolen merchandise was valued at $150 . 00 .
   A Somerset , NJ resident was the victim of a burglary during the morning hours in the area of Rachel Ct . While the victim was taking a nap in his locked apartment , an unknown suspect ( s ) entered and allegedly stole property valued at $1 , 161 . 00 . There were no signs of forced entry .
   A Somerset , NJ resident was the victim of a burglary during the evening hours in the area of Plum Tree Ln . The unknown suspect ( s ) entered the unoccupied residence through a rear sliding door and stole cash and property valued at a total of $4 , 660 . 00 .

   Mary W . Nemeth , 53 , of Princeton , NJ was arrested for DWI after patrol responded to a report of an unresponsive person in a running vehicle . Nemeth was processed and released with a pending court appearance .

   A Somerset , NJ resident was the victim of a burglary during the overnight hours in the area of Barron Cir . The unknown suspect ( s ) rummaged through the victim’s vehicle but did not take anything .
   Carlos F . Bernier , 51 , of Sewell , NJ was arrested by Pitman PD for an open warrant out of jurisdiction . The FTPD responded and took custody of Bernier . He was processed and transported to Somerset County Jail .

   A Monmouth Junction , NJ resident was the victim of a motor vehicle theft during the daytime hours in the area of Rt . 27 . The victim was in possession of the keys . The suspect ( s ) is unknown . The vehicle was valued at $10 , 000 . 00 .
   A Somerset , NJ resident was the victim of a theft between 01/28/24 and 02/05/24 in the area of Exeter Ct . The unknown suspect ( s ) stole both license plates off of the victim’s vehicle . The plates were entered stolen into a national database .
   Patrol recovered a stolen motor vehicle in the area of Fuller St . during a suspicious vehicle investigation . The vehicle was unoccupied with a damaged ignition . A witness observed two unknown individuals exit the vehicle and leave the area on foot . The reporting jurisdiction was notified of the recovery .
   Luiz A . Morales , 30 , of Somerset , NJ was arrested by East Brunswick PD for an open warrant out of our jurisdiction . The FTPD responded and took custody of Morales . He was processed and transported to Somerset County Jail .

   Tomas A . Vazquez Jr . , 48 , of Somerset , NJ was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of our jurisdiction during a motor vehicle stop . Vazquez Jr . was processed and released on his own recognizance .

   A business located on Rt . 27 was the victim of a shoplifting during the morning hours . A Hispanic male stole $148 . 00 worth of merchandise from the store . Patrol responded and identified the suspect . The suspect was mailed a summons for the offense .
   An Astoria , NY resident was the victim of a motor vehicle theft in the area of Rt . 27 between 02/01/24 and 02/06/24 . The unknown suspect ( s ) stole the victim’s trailer valued at $14 , 700 . 00 from a storage facility .
   A business located on Easton Ave . was the victim of a shoplifting during the afternoon hours . Two black males and a Hispanic male and female attempted to walk out of the store without paying for miscellaneous merchandise . The cart was left behind when confronted by an employee . However , one of the suspects was able to walk out without paying for $12 . 00 worth of baby food .
   A Somerset , NJ resident was the victim of a burglary during the evening hours in the area of Hamilton St . The victim observed an unknown male on his property . The male fled the area . Upon further inspection , the victim observed one of his vehicles to be ransacked . The victim was unsure if anything of value was taken at the time of report .

   Luis A . Delvalle - Parras , 32 , of Irvington , NJ was arrested for multiple outstanding warrants during a motor vehicle crash investigation . Delvalle - Parras was processed and turned over to Woodland Park PD for further processing .

   A business located on Rt . 27 was the victim of a theft during the afternoon hours . The unknown male suspect was observed tampering with gift cards . After the male exited the store , it was found that four $500 . 00 gift cards were scratched to reveal the claim code .
   A Somerset , NJ resident was the victim of a fraud during the month of November 23’ after being hired for a job he found online . The victim was advised by “Mathew Loscialo” to send $3 , 250 . 00 via Zelle for the purchase of equipment needed to fulfill his employment duties . After sending the money , the victim realized he was the victim of a scam .
   A Somerset , NJ resident was the victim of a burglary during the evening hours in the area of Bunker Hill Rd . The unknown male suspect was observed within one of the victim’s vehicles before fleeing the area . Nothing of value was taken .
   Ruben Mejia - Bueno , 31 , of Hillsborough , NJ was arrested for DWI during a motor vehicle crash investigation . Mejia - Bueno was processed and released with a pending court appearance .

Two unknown male suspects were observed on surveillance driving the vehicle away at approximately 0100hrs . The vehicle was recovered a short distance away by patrol during the morning hours . The door lock and ignition were damaged .
   A Somerset , NJ resident was the victim of criminal mischief during the overnight hours in the area of Barron Cir . The unknown suspect ( s ) damaged the victim’s door handle to her vehicle .
   A Somerset , NJ resident was the victim of a burglary during the overnight hours in the area of Barron Cir . The unknown suspect ( s ) damaged the victim’s door lock to her vehicle to make entry . Once inside , the suspect ( s ) stole the victim’s wallet .
   A Somerset , NJ resident was the victim of a theft on 02/07/24 in the area of Rt . 27 . The unknown suspect ( s ) stole the victim’s license plate off of his vehicle . The plate was entered stolen into a national database .
   A business located on Hamilton St . was the victim of a shoplifting during the afternoon hours . A Hispanic male left the store through the emergency exit with unpaid merchandise . The value of the merchandise was unknown at the time of the report .

Two black males and a black female were observed on surveillance stealing the victim’s wallet from her purse when she wasn’t looking .
