City street crews will begin plowing snow this afternoon . We have not reached the 4 - inch threshold yet , but we are anticipating an additional 2 inches of snow tonight .
   Crews will plow the main arterials and zone priority streets first . At midnight , crews will focus on removing snow from the downtown core area . All remaining streets are third priority .
   Help our winter street crews by taking these steps when it’s expected to snow:
   • Park vehicles in driveways or parking areas off main streets .
   • If you don’t have a regular off - street parking area , consider moving your car when the road is scheduled for plowing .
   • Please give our snow plow operators plenty of room when you see them out working .
   • Maintain snow removal of your sidewalks and driveways on your property , and please do not discard snow out into the street .
