   Drug Investigation Leads to Three Arrests
    
    ( Fayetteville , NC ) – A tip from Crime Stoppers of suspected drug activity led to an investigation that resulted in three arrests .
    
   On Wednesday , February 21 , 2024 , the Fayetteville Police Department’s Narcotics Vice Suppression Unit ( NVSU ) , with the assistance of the Emergency Response Team ( ERT ) , Violent Criminal Apprehension Team ( VCAT ) , Gang Unit , and Hope Mills Police Department , executed a search warrant along the 200 block of Alphin St in Fayetteville , NC .
    
   The search warrant led to the seizure of the following:
    
    
   133 grams of cocaine
   $1 , 174 US currency
   8 firearms  
    
   Following the search warrant , Tammy Jones ( 44 years old ) was arrested and charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Felon , Trafficking in Cocaine by Manufacture , Trafficking in Cocaine by Possession , Trafficking in Cocaine by Transport , Conspire to Traffic in Cocaine , and Felonious Maintaining a Dwelling for Keeping and Selling a Controlled Substance .
   At the time of the arrest , Tammy Jones had pending Trafficking in Cocaine charges from May 2023 . Tammy Jones is currently being held at the Cumberland County Detention Center under a $125 , 000 secured bond .  
    
   Tanya Beal ( 27 years old ) was arrested and charged with Conspire to Traffic in Cocaine and Felonious Maintaining a Dwelling for Keeping and Selling a Controlled Substance . Tanya Beal was released from custody after posting a $2 , 500 secured bond .  
    
   Janice Jones ( 72 years old ) was arrested and charged with Conspire to Traffic in Cocaine and Felonious Maintaining a Dwelling for Keeping and Selling a Controlled Substance .  Jones had her first appearance conducted at the hospital earlier today and she received an unsecured bond .
