Grand Forks , ND - Most city offices will be closed on Monday , February 19 , 2024 in observance of Presidents Day .   Regular City business will not be conducted on that day . However , emergency police , fire and communications services will continue to operate as scheduled .
    
   Garbage will not be picked up on Monday , February 19

    .   Regular Monday pickup for the “A Route” will take place on Tuesday , February 20th , and Monday’s “B Route” pickup will take place on Wednesday , February 21st .  
    
   Recycling pick - up will take place as scheduled on Monday , February 19 , 2024 .    Please place items near the curb for recycling pick - up by 7:00 a . m .
    
   Cities Area Transit ( CAT ) and Dial - A - Ride will operate its normal routes , but CAT administrative offices will be closed .
    
   The Grand Forks City Council meeting will take place on Tuesday , February 20 , 2024 at 5:30 p . m .
    
   City offices will reopen for regular business on Tuesday , February 20 , 2024 .
