Public Information Meetings: Rewriting Our Rules LUMO Update
Mark your calendars for our upcoming , in - person Public Information Meetings . They are informal opportunities for you to learn and ask questions about Rewriting Our Rules: A LUMO Update .

   Each meeting will be held at 100 Library Drive , Meeting Room B

   Monday , March 25; Monday , April 29; Monday , May 20

   Staff will give a short presentation at 6:30 p . m . , but otherwise the events are drop - in from 6 to 7:30 p . m .

Homestead Aquatic Center Closed Feb . 19–March 3
The Homestead Aquatic Center is scheduled to close Monday , Feb . 19 through Sunday , March 3 for maintenance and repairs . During this time , the hours of operation for the Chapel Hill Community Center Pool will be expanded .  

   Monday through Friday , 5:30 a . m . to 8:30 p . m .  

   Saturdays , 9 a . m . to 7 p . m .  

   Sundays , 12 to 7 p . m .
Drop - in times are available for lap swimming and independent water fitness . View the

Flowing Melodies Chinese Music Ensemble - Lunar New Year

   Saturday , Feb . 24 , 11–11:45 a . m .
   Chapel Hill Public Library Meeting Room B Join us for a music and storytelling performance by Flowing Melodies Chinese Music Ensemble on the last day of Lunar New Year . They will perform the 21 - string zither ( guzheng ) , the lute ( pipa ) , and the 7 - string zither ( guqin ) . From ancient tunes to modern songs , they will weave together the traditions of the Lunar New Year with music to celebrate the Year of the Dragon .
