Join Livermore artist Barbara Stanton for a two - day oil painting workshop on Monday 6/6 and Tuesday 6/7 from 10 a . m . – 4 p . m . This workshop is geared towards adults . Registration is required , space is limited . Contact the Livermore Public Library at 925 - 373 - 5500 to register .
   Barbara Stanton is well known locally and nationally , for her miniature oil paintings . You may have seen her at a local art show , painting under a magnifying lens . Now is your chance to give it a try yourself! Don’t worry , we won’t be going so tiny , just small . The painting will be a lovely tree on an 8”x10” canvass panel . All materials are included! The workshop is geared for beginners who have never painted before but students with painting experience will have fun painting too . Students will learn the secrets of color mixing , composition , and values .
