The Albany County Department for Aging is seeking stories from alumni , friends , faculty , and neighbors , which it will compile into a book to honor the legacy of The College of Saint Rose .
Located in the heart of Albany , the College of Saint Rose was founded by the Sisters of St . Joseph of Carondelet whose mission was to prepare students for their careers and to help them apply what they learned to make the world around them better . With the college now closing , it is important to reflect on the history and impact of this institution on the community .
Submissions should consist of a paragraph or two highlighting a cherished college memory . This could be your first moments at Saint Rose , your experience at the college , what the college meant to you , how important your degree is , a professor or a student who enlightened you , or any other anecdote your feel like sharing . Be sure to include your name and year of graduation or the years you worked/taught at the college .
